The curriculum includes an educational movie in the National Geographic Theater. Space & Rocket Center showcases rockets and artifacts of the U.S. They learn about space hardware, enjoy an educational water activity and experience a spaceflight mission while learning about aerospace career opportunities.

Throughout the week, students are immersed in astronaut training techniques using equipment adapted from NASA’s astronaut program. Students work as a team and confront mission scenarios that require dynamic problem solving and critical thinking - 21st century learning skills required in the workplace. Launched in 1982, Space Camp has inspired and motivated young people from around the country, and later the world, with attendees from all 50 states, U.S. Suit up for a mission to the International Space Station or train for a landing on the moon! Space Camp ® is the ultimate educational experience that illuminates real-world applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This internationally known program with more than 700,000 alumni is based on NASA astronaut training and focuses on teamwork and leadership skills. Post war, these factories lead to the establishment of NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center in 1960.
